The Most Important Trait You Can Teach Your Kid And How Einstein Summed It Up Perfectly

The #1 trait I want to teach my children is this:

TRUST

The way you perceive reality is based on the filters, concepts and views you have developed. Everything is shaped by that.

As a parent you hold great power and responsibility in the setup of these filters, concepts and views.

Core beliefs are like tainted glasses

Your beliefs about the concept of trust is one of those core beliefs.

“I think the most important question facing humanity is, ‘Is the universe a friendly place?’” — Albert Einstein

In short: Do You Trust?

My answer to that question is a resounding YES, and this is what I want to instill in my children. Of course they will be disappointed, betrayed and hurt.

But the reward of trusting is far greater than the upside of distrust.

The real magic happens though, when you get up, dust off and go trust again.
